How to Add Controls

To ensure a hazard is managed safetly, Controls can be added.

Controls can include requirements such as stand-offs, bunding, signage and more.

Each control can be marked as active or inactive. Users can also assign accountable roles and due dates.

Controls can be classified as:

  • Compliant
  • Ongoing
  • Non-compliant

Step 1: Access the hazard

The hazard can be accessed through the MapTable or Home page, then select the hazard icon.

Step 2: Add Controls

To add Controls, click the Add Control button.

A dialoge box will open allowing you to add as many Controls as required.

Once you have added your Controls, select Submit to submit them.

  • The Controls will be updated for the hazard.
  • Users will be notified that new Controls have been added.

Step 3: Edit Controls

To edit Controls, select a control and click on the pencil icon.

A dialogue box will open allowing you to make any required changes.

You can also change a controls status to inactive if it is no longer relevant. This will move to the inactive tab.
