How to Add a Hazard/Feature Specific Checklist

How to Add a Hazard/Feature Specific Checklist

Step 1. Identify the Hazard or Feature and Select it

Hazards and Features can have checklists added to them if approved by an Administrator. This is common for situations like intersections or geotechnical hazards.
In the hazard or features information side bar you will see the option to Add Checklist if one is available (Figure 31 and Figure 32).

Figure 32 – All possible checklist options for that hazard or feature

If your desired checklist is not appearing it could be due to:
  1. The hazard or feature having the wrong Type (operational instead of intersection e.g.)
  2. The checklist is general instead of hazard/feature specific (use the pink button instead)
  3. No checklists approved for this hazard type
  4. You don’t have the correct Role

Step 2. Fill out Details

Fill out the details of the checklist from top to bottom. Fields in red are mandatory and must have an answer added.
On larger screens you will have a sidebar that can be used for quick navigation.
You can add comments and photos to any answer, online or offline.

If you click away from this screen at any point, your checklist will be saved as a draft and you can finalise it later. To access drafts, select the pink Add Checklist button (Error! Reference source not found.). You will see your draft as an option at the top. If no longer required, selecting the trash can deletes the draft.

Step 3. Submit

Once your checklist has been filled out, select the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

Step 4. Accessing Submitted Hazard/Feature Specific Checklists

Once complete, select Submit at the bottom. This completed checklist will be save in two locations and can be accessed by:
Selecting the appropriate hazard or feature and scrolling to the checklist section (Figure 35)
Going to the Register and filtering the results (Figure 36)
