Adding, Managing and Removing Layers

Permissions

Access to layers is based on user role.
User roles with access to the layer panel are managed by the site admin.
Contact support@hazview.com if you believe you should have access.

Adding a layer

Step 1: Select the layer tab

Step 2: Select the upload button (+)

Step 3: Select your design file


Managing Layers

Latency:

Large .dxf files can cause lag on the hazard map.
These must be refined or removed.
To determine performance, the latency is shown next to each layer and should remain <16ms.

Properties:

Once uploaded, you can check your layers name, CRS and styling.
.dxfs will carry their exported colouring schemes.
If desired, these can be overridden in HazView.

Removing Layers

Step 1: Select the layer you want to remove.


Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and select delete.
