How to Upload New Imagery


Step 1: Navigate to the Maps and GIS management tools

New map tiles can be uploaded by users with Administration privileges. These map tiles will be processed and hosted automatically by the HazView map tile infrastructure.
To manage your sites maps, navigate to Maps and GIS from within the Admin menu (Figure 44).
Inside the Maps and GIS settings, select Configure Mastery Imagery.

Step 2: Upload the imagery

To add new imagery, select the orange button and upload an appropriate file (Figure 45).
Ensure you adhere to fille requirements:

Imagery file requirements:

  1. Geotiff (.tif, .tiff)
    1. A single georeferenced TIFF file with embedded coordinate information.
  2. ZIP Archive (.zip)
    1. A compressed folder containing one or more georeferenced images
    2. Use this for:
      1. Multiple GeoTIFF files
      2. GeoJPEG files (JPEG with accompanying world files)
        1. .jgw
        2. .jpg
        3. .prj
  3. Maximum Size: 7gb
Once uploaded, users will be able to see the progress of the map tile processing and any completed layers.
